Dominica Creole Fest

We’re just getting back from World Creole Music Festival on the beautiful island of Dominica! You may not have heard of this one, but if you’re a fan of any type of Caribbean music, it needs to be on your radar. It’s a 3-day festival featuring diverse genres such as bouyon, cadence, zouk, kompa, as well as reggae, dancehall, soca, and afrobeats. I was front row for artists like Valiant, Nadia Batson, Wiz Kid, Asa Bantan and Skinny Fabulous. Every night was 🔥 and went into the early morning. What’s Bouyon you ask? It’s some of the hottest music coming out of the Caribbean right now, so if you haven’t heard it yet, you will soon. 

Creators of the Culture Houston

We’re just two weeks away from our flagship Creators of the Culture event at the Afrotech Conference, hitting Houston on Wednesday, November 13, 2024!
