Rio Movements Itinerary

We orchestrated a journey for 14 amigos to celebrate a buddy's 30th birthday – a mix of local hangs, touristy escapades, relaxation, and unforgettable moments. If a week-long Rio trip with your crew is in the cards, let this simple itinerary spark some inspiration.

Housing
We called a unique, spacious, and aesthetically zenful luxury villa in Barra Da Tijuca home sweet home, s/o Casa Champagne. Barra might be a bit out of the way from the more familiar south areas like Copacabana, but this upscale beach town's got it all – pristine beaches, buzzing nightlife, and luxe living.

Movements Tips

Don’t over plan: Traveling with a group can be logistically challenging especially when everyone is on different timing. Prepay for certain activities, leave buffer time and limit group activities to 2-3 per day. Don’t be afraid to leave people.

Free Day, Side Missions: Keep the last few days open for spontaneous activities – helicopter rides, hang gliding, beach bumming, tattoos, meeting the in-laws, or doing absolutely nothing.

Local Help: Rio De Janeiro (and maybe all of Brazil) is tricky to navigate, so having friends on the ground helped us with payments, local experiences, and translations.
