Hey Movers!

The countdown is on—just under 3 months until we kick off Detty December in South Africa! It’s time to start prepping, and you’ll be hearing from us more frequently moving forward. Let’s make this an unforgettable experience!

What to Expect 👀

How we’ll communicate:

  • Email: For important updates and action items.

  • WhatsApp Group: For general engagement, polls, reminders, and fun discussions.

  • FAQ: For any questions you may have.

  • Itinerary: The trip page has the most up-to-date day-by-day itinerary. If any changes occur, we’ll notify you promptly.

Optional Group Activities:

There are several exciting events happening, such as Afrofuture x PVO Beach Party, Jerk x Jollof, NYE dinners, and more. We’ll coordinate with those interested in attending through polls and RSVPs, so keep an eye out. Once we have a headcount, we’ll set deadlines for payment submission.

Free Time:

While we'll have plenty of group activities and adventures already included for our trip, we’ve also included ample free time in the schedule. This allows you to explore at your own pace, relax, or take in any additional sights that interest you. In Johannesburg, you might want to visit the Apartheid Museum or take a stroll through Maboneng Precinct. In Cape Town, explore the V&A Waterfront, hike up Lion's Head or Table Top Mountain, or unwind on Camps Bay Beach. This trip is designed to give you the best of both worlds, so start etching out your itinerary now!
